Here's a 1923 or '24 D which was modified extensively for road travel. It recieved hard rubber on the front and rear wheels. It also recieved a more comfortable seat, probably with better vision too. The bad thing is, the guy is even closer to the spoked flywheel! This was a farm modification, not a modification made by Deere.
