Please ignore the John Deere knuckle-buster!
This picture was taken in 2000. It still looks as good now, as it did then (except a few more stains and scraches). It runs good, the block is fixed, all the tires hold air. (about a year after the picture, the right rear gave out, and we had to get another). The only problem is that the hydralic cylinder leaks, so we don't use it. Its not an Eagle Hitch, the cylinder is just for cultivators.
It is now used with a 5 foot brush-hog to mow the big patches of weeds-"fields", around our place. It is ALMOST too big for the tractor, but it works well.
Here is a list of the various replacements that have been needed for the tractor. I am probably forgetting half of them!
- Radiator
- Rear rim
- (2) Rear tires
- (2) Front tires
- Water pump
- Rebuilt the Generator
- Muffler
- Belt Pulley (found one in July 2001)
- Ammeter
- Water Tempature gauge (actually two-the first replacement was junk)
- Six-volt battery
- Wiring, switches
- Paint
- Decals
- Gas Cap
- Plus various other stuff--fluids, oil filter, nuts, bolts, spark plugs, body filler, Nirod(welding rod), blood, sweat, tears, cash...............
