The BI was based on the BR (standard tread), these are the differences...
  • Heavier rear axle and housings
  • Different rear axle bearings
  • Rear axle housing designed for drum brakes and machined to mount intergral equipment
  • Different front end support, drilled and machined to mount equipment
  • Front axle moved 5 1/4 inches back, increased manuverability, and more clearance for equipment
  • Shorter airstack-like the BO (orchard)
  • Heavier and shorter drawbar
  • Fenders and Platform modified to accomodate hand-operated wheel brakes
  • More comfortable, padded seat-with different mounting
